The image on the right is a composite of two pictures taken last year at Hayle with an Olympus C990 digital camera. The background shot, (the Heron is barely discernable!), used just the cameras zoom lens, whilst the foreground shot of the same Heron was taken with the cameras lens held onto the eyepiece of a Swarovski AT80HD telescope with 20-60x zoom eyepiece.
